سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ لِكُلِّ صَلَاةٍ وَقْتَانِ وَ أَوَّلُ الْوَقْتِ أَفْضَلُهُ وَ لَيْسَ لِأَحَدٍ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ آخِرَ الْوَقْتَيْنِ وَقْتاً إِلَّا فِي عُذْرٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ عِلَّةٍ .

علی ابن ابراہیم نے محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے یونس بن عبد الرحمن سے، انہوں نے عبد اللہ بن سنان سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے انہیں یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا: ہر نماز کے دو وقت ہیں اور وقت کا پہلا حصہ افضل ہے؛ اور کسی کے لیے جائز نہیں کہ دونوں وقتوں کے آخر کو اپنا وقت قرار دے، مگر کسی عذر میں جو بیماری کے بغیر ہو۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Yunus Bin Abdul Rahman, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I heard him<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘For every <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> are two timings, and the beginning time is superior; and it is not for anyone that he makes the last of the two timings as a timing except during an excuse from other than an illness’.
