قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَخْبِرْنِي بِأَفْضَلِ الْمَوَاقِيتِ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ فَقَالَ مَعَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ وَ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ إِنَّ قُرْآنَ الْفَجْرِ كانَ مَشْهُوداً يَعْنِي صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ تَشْهَدُهُ مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَ مَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ فَإِذَا صَلَّى الْعَبْدُ الصُّبْحَ مَعَ طُلُوعِ الْفَجْرِ أُثْبِتَتْ لَهُ مَرَّتَيْنِ أَثْبَتَهَا مَلَائِكَةُ اللَّيْلِ وَ مَلَائِكَةُ النَّهَارِ .

میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: مجھے نماز فجر کے بہترین اوقات کے بارے میں بتائیں۔ تو آپ نے فرمایا: طلوع فجر کے ساتھ۔ بے شک اللہ عزّ و جلّ فرماتا ہے: 'اور فجر کا قرآن، بے شک فجر کا قرآن مشہود ہے' — یعنی نماز فجر۔ اسے رات کے فرشتے اور دن کے فرشتے دیکھتے ہیں۔ پس جب بندہ طلوع فجر کے ساتھ صبح کی نماز پڑھے تو اس کے لیے دو مرتبہ ثبت ہوتی ہے — رات کے فرشتوں نے اور دن کے فرشتوں نے اسے ثبت کیا۔
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr, from Abdul Rahman Bin Salim, from Is’haq Bin Ammar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Inform me of the most elevated of the timings regarding the Fajr <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘With the emergence of the dawn, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:17#h78"><a href="/books/quran:17#h78">[17:78]</a></a> the morning recitation; surely the recitation at dawn was always witnessed</span> – Meaning the Fajr <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>. The Angels of the night witness it and the Angels of the day (as well). So when the servant prays the morning (<span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>) with the emergence of the dawn, it is affirmed for him twice. It is affirmed by the Angels of the night and the Angels of the day’.
