رَجُلٍ صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ بِلَيْلٍ غَرَّهُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْقَمَرُ وَ نَامَ حَتَّى طَلَعَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَأُخْبِرَ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى بِلَيْلٍ قَالَ يُعِيدُ صَلَاتَهُ .

اور اسی سند سے، فضالہ سے، ابان سے، زرارہ سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی اس شخص کے بارے میں جس نے رات میں فجر کی نماز پڑھی، چاند نے اسے دھوکہ دیا، اور وہ سوتا رہا یہاں تک کہ سورج طلوع ہو گیا؛ پھر اسے بتایا گیا کہ اس نے رات میں نماز پڑھی تھی۔ آپ نے فرمایا: وہ اپنی نماز دوبارہ پڑھے۔
Translation
And by this chain, from Fazalat, from Aban, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who prayed the morning <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> at night, the moon (light) having deceived him from that, and he slept until the emergence of the sun. So he was informed that he had prayed at night’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should repeat his <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span>’.
