صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) بِالنَّاسِ الظُّهْرَ وَ الْعَصْرَ حِينَ زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ مِنْ غَيْرِ عِلَّةٍ وَ صَلَّى بِهِمُ الْمَغْرِبَ وَ الْعِشَاءَ الْآخِرَةَ قَبْلَ سُقُوطِ الشَّفَقِ مِنْ غَيْرِ عِلَّةٍ فِي جَمَاعَةٍ وَ إِنَّمَا فَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لِيَتَّسِعَ الْوَقْتُ عَلَى أُمَّتِهِ .

محمد بن یحییٰ نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے علی بن الحکم سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن بکیر سے، انہوں نے زرارہ سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے لوگوں کو ظہر اور عصر کی نماز اس وقت جب سورج ڈھل گیا، جماعت کے ساتھ بغیر کسی علت کے پڑھائی، اور انہیں مغرب اور عشاء آخر کی نماز شفق غائب ہونے سے پہلے بغیر کسی علت کے جماعت کے ساتھ پڑھائی۔ اور رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے یہ صرف اس لیے کیا کہ اپنی امت کے لیے وقت کو وسیع کریں۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Abdullah Bin Bukeyr, from Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> prayed <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> with the people, Al-Zohr and Al-Asr when the sun (started its) decline, in a <span class="iTxt">Jam’at</span>, from without a reason; and he<sup>saww</sup> prayed with them Al-Maghrib and Al-Isha the last before the fall of the twilight, from without a reason, in a <span class="iTxt">Jam’at</span>. And rather, Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> did it in order to expand the timing upon his<sup>saww</sup> community’.
