اور اس سند کے ذریعے، مروک بن عبید سے، محمد بن زید طبری سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں خراسان میں الرضا علیہ السلام کے سرہانے کھڑا تھا، اور ان کے ساتھ بنی ہاشم کی ایک جماعت تھی، جن میں اسحاق بن موسیٰ بن عیسیٰ العباسی بھی تھے۔ تو انہوں نے فرمایا: اے اسحاق، مجھے یہ بات پہنچی ہے کہ لوگ کہتے ہیں کہ ہم یہ گمان کرتے ہیں کہ لوگ ہمارے غلام ہیں۔ نہیں، رسول اللہ صلى الله عليه وآله سے میری قرابت کی قسم، میں نے یہ بات کبھی نہیں کہی، نہ میں نے اپنے آباء میں سے کسی کو یہ کہتے سنا، نہ یہ بات میرے آباء میں سے کسی سے مجھ تک پہنچی کہ اس نے یہ کہا ہو۔ لیکن میں یہ کہتا ہوں: لوگ اطاعت میں ہمارے تابع ہیں، اور دین میں ہمارے دوست و وفادار ہیں۔ پس جو حاضر ہے وہ اسے غائب تک پہنچا دے۔

Translation

And by this chain, from Marwak Bin Ubeyd, from Muhammad Bin Zayd Al Tabary who said, ‘I was standing by the head of Al-Reza^asws at Khurasan, and in his^asws presence were a number from the Clan of Hashim^as, and among them was Is’haq Bin Musa Bin Isa Al-Abbasy. So he^asws said: ‘O Is’haq! It has reached me^asws that the people are saying that we^asws are claiming that the people are our^asws slaves. No! By my^asws relationship from Rasool-Alah^saww! I^asws did not say it at all, nor had I^asws heard it from my^asws forefathers^asws saying it, nor has it reached me from anyone from my^asws forefathers^asws having said it. But, I^asws am saying, the people are slaves of ours^asws regarding the obedience, friends of ours^asws in the Religion. So let the attendees deliver it to the absentees’.
