John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أَدْعُو وَ أَنَا سَاجِدٌ فَقَالَ نَعَمْ فَادْعُ لِلدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ فَإِنَّهُ رَبُّ الدُّنْيَا وَ الْآخِرَةِ .


Translation

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Fazalat, from Aban, from Abdul Rahman Bin Sayabat who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Can I supplicate while I am in a <span class="iTxt">Sajdah</span>?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, supplicate for the world and the Hereafter, for He<sup>azwj</sup> is the Lord<sup>azwj</sup> of the world and the Hereafter’.
