سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هادٍ فَقَالَ كُلُّ إِمَامٍ هَادٍ لِلْقَرْنِ الَّذِي هُوَ فِيهِمْ .

میں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول کے بارے میں: 'اور ہر قوم کے لیے ایک ہادی ہے' [13:7] تو انہوں نے فرمایا: 'ہر امام اس زمانے کا ہادی ہے جس میں وہ موجود ہوتا ہے۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd and Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Musa Bin Bakr, from Al Fuzayl who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> was asked about the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:13#h7"><a href="/books/quran:13#h7">[13:7]</a></a> and for every people is a Guide</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Every Imam<sup>asws</sup> is a guide of the generation he<sup>asws</sup> is in’.
