اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنَّما أَنْتَ مُنْذِرٌ وَ لِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هادٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْمُنْذِرُ وَ لِكُلِّ زَمَانٍ مِنَّا هَادٍ يَهْدِيهِمْ إِلَى مَا جَاءَ بِهِ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) ثُمَّ الْهُدَاةُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ عَلِيٌّ ثُمَّ الْأَوْصِيَاءُ وَاحِدٌ بَعْدَ وَاحِدٍ .

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن ابی عمیر سے، انہوں نے ابن اذینہ سے، انہوں نے بریدالعجلی سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے اللہ عزّ وجلّ کے اس قول کے بارے میں روایت کی: 'آپ تو بس ایک ڈرانے والے ہیں اور ہر قوم کے لیے ایک ہادی ہے' [قرآن 13:7] پس آپ نے فرمایا: 'رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ منذر ہیں اور ہر زمانے میں ہم میں سے ایک ہادی ہوگا جو انہیں اس طرف رہنمائی کرے گا جو نبی اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ لائے۔ پھر ان کے بعد ہادیان علی علیہ السلام ہیں، پھر اوصیاء ایک کے بعد ایک۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Muhammad Bin Abu Umery, from Ibn Azina, from Bureyd Al Ijaly, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:13#h7"><a href="/books/quran:13#h7">[13:7]</a></a> But rather, you are only a warner, and for every people is a Guide</span>. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> is the warner, and for every era there would be a guide from us<sup>asws</sup> guiding them to what the Prophet of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> came with. Then the guide from after him<sup>asws</sup> is Ali<sup>asws</sup>, then the successors<sup>asws</sup>, one after one’.
