John Shaqi

قَالَ إِذَا شَكَكْتَ فَلَمْ تَدْرِ أَ فِي ثَلَاثٍ أَنْتَ أَمْ فِي اثْنَتَيْنِ أَمْ فِي وَاحِدَةٍ أَمْ فِي أَرْبَعٍ فَأَعِدْ وَ لَا تَمْضِ عَلَى الشَّكِّ .


Translation

Hammad, from Ibn Abu Yafour, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When you doubt, so you do not know whether you are in the third (<span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span>) or in the second, or in the first, or in the fourth, so repeat and do not continue upon the doubt’.
