قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَا خَيْرَ فِي الْعَيْشِ إِلَّا لِرَجُلَيْنِ عَالِمٍ مُطَاعٍ أَوْ مُسْتَمِعٍ وَاعٍ .

علی بن محمد، سہل بن زیاد سے، وہ نوفلی سے، وہ سکونی سے، وہ ابوعبداللہ علیہ السلام سے، انہوں نے اپنے آباء و اجداد سے روایت کرتے ہوئے کہا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'زندگی میں کوئی خیر نہیں مگر دو آدمیوں کے لیے — ایک مانا جانے والا عالم، یا ایک یاد رکھنے والا سامع۔'
Translation
Ali Bin Mhammad, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, from his<sup>asws</sup> forefathers<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘There is no goodness in the life except for two (types of) men – a scholar obeyed, or a retaining listener’.
