سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الرَّجُلِ صَلَّى مَعَ قَوْمٍ وَ هُوَ يَرَى أَنَّهَا الْأُولَى وَ كَانَتِ الْعَصْرَ قَالَ فَلْيَجْعَلْهَا الْأُولَى وَ لْيُصَلِّ الْعَصْرَ . وَ فِي حَدِيثٍ آخَرَ فَإِنْ عَلِمَ أَنَّهُمْ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ وَ لَمْ يَكُنْ صَلَّى الْأُولَى فَلَا يَدْخُلْ مَعَهُمْ .
Translation
A group of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Fazalat Bin Ayoub, from Al Husayn Bin Usman, from Sama’at, from Abu Baseer who said ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the man who prays with a group and he sees that it is the first (Al-Zohr), and it was Al-Asr He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘So let him make it to be the first (Al-Zohr), and he should pray Al-Asr’. And in another Hadeeth, ‘(He<sup>asws</sup> said): ‘So if he knows that they were in Al-Asr <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> and he had not prayed the first (Al-Zohr), so he should not enter with them’.
