John Shaqi

قَالَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) الصَّلَاةُ النَّافِلَةُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ سِتُّ رَكَعَاتٍ بُكْرَةً وَ سِتُّ رَكَعَاتٍ صَدْرَ النَّهَارِ وَ رَكْعَتَانِ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ ثُمَّ صَلِّ الْفَرِيضَةَ وَ صَلِّ بَعْدَهَا سِتَّ رَكَعَاتٍ .


Translation

Ali, from Muhammad, and someone else, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Abu Nasr who said, ‘Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup> said: The optional <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> on the day of Friday is of six <span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span> early morning, and six <span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span> in the middle of the day, and two <span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span> when the sun (starts to) decline. Then pray the Obligatory <span class="iTxt">Salāt</span> and pray six <span class="iTxt">Rak’at</span> after it’.
