اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنَّ ناشِئَةَ اللَّيْلِ هِيَ أَشَدُّ وَطْئاً وَ أَقْوَمُ قِيلًا قَالَ يَعْنِي بِقَوْلِهِ وَ أَقْوَمُ قِيلًا قِيَامَ الرَّجُلِ عَنْ فِرَاشِهِ يُرِيدُ بِهِ اللَّهَ لَا يُرِيدُ بِهِ غَيْرَهُ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hisham Bin Salim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:73#h6"><a href="/books/quran:73#h6">[73:6]</a></a> Surely the rising by night is the firmest way to tread and the best speech</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Meaning of His<sup>azwj</sup> Words <span class="ibTxt">best speech </span>is the standing of the man from his bed intending Allah<sup>azwj</sup> by it, not intending anything else by it’.
