سَأَلْتُهُ ( عليه السلام ) عَنِ الْحُبُوبِ مَا يُزَكَّى مِنْهَا قَالَ الْبُرُّ وَ الشَّعِيرُ وَ الذُّرَةُ وَ الدُّخْنُ وَ الْأَرُزُّ وَ السُّلْتُ وَ الْعَدَسُ وَ السِّمْسِمُ كُلُّ هَذَا يُزَكَّى وَ أَشْبَاهُهُ .
اردو
علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے حریز سے، انہوں نے محمد بن مسلم سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ان (علیہ السلام) سے اناج کے بارے میں سوال کیا کہ ان میں سے کس پر زکوٰة واجب ہوگی؟ آپ نے فرمایا: گندم، جَو، مکئی، باجرہ، چاول، سُلت (چھلکے کے بغیر جَو)، مسور کی دال اور تِل — ان سب پر زکوٰة واجب ہے اور جو ان کی مثل ہو۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Muhammad Bin Muslim who said, ‘I asked him<sup>asws</sup> about the grains, ‘What would be purified (<span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> paid) from these?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The wheat, and the barley, and the corn, and the millet, and the rice, and the rye, and the lentil, and the sesame – all of this would be purified (<span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span> paid), and those resembling these’.
