إِذَا أَخْرَجَهَا مِنْ مَالِهِ فَذَهَبَتْ وَ لَمْ يُسَمِّهَا لِأَحَدٍ فَقَدْ بَرِئَ مِنْهَا .
Translation
Hareyz, from Ubeyd Bin Zurara, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘When he extracts it (<span class="iTxt">Zakāt</span>) from his wealth, so it gets wasted, and he had not specified it for anyone, so he is not accountable for it’.
