حَدَّثَنِي الْجَهْمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) تَصَدَّقُوا فَإِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ تَزِيدُ فِي الْمَالِ كَثْرَةً وَ تَصَدَّقُوا رَحِمَكُمُ اللَّهُ .

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے احمد بن ابی عبد اللہ سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: مجھ سے جہم بن حکم مدائنی نے بیان کیا، انہوں نے سکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے فرمایا: 'صدقہ دو، کیونکہ بے شک صدقہ مال میں بکثرت اضافہ کرتا ہے، اور صدقہ دو — اللہ تم پر رحم فرمائے۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Abu Abdullah who said, ‘Al Jahm Bin Al Hakam Al Madainy narrated to me from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘Give charity for the charity increases in the wealth a lot, and give charity, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> would be Merciful upon you’.
