قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) أُطْعِمُ سَائِلًا لَا أَعْرِفُهُ مُسْلِماً فَقَالَ نَعَمْ أَعْطِ مَنْ لَا تَعْرِفُهُ بِوَلَايَةٍ وَ لَا عَدَاوَةٍ لِلْحَقِّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَقُولُ وَ قُولُوا لِلنَّاسِ حُسْناً وَ لَا تُطْعِمْ مَنْ نَصَبَ لِشَيْءٍ مِنَ الْحَقِّ أَوْ دَعَا إِلَى شَيْءٍ مِنَ الْبَاطِلِ .
اردو
علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے حریز سے، انہوں نے سدیر الصیرفی سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے پوچھا: کیا میں کسی ایسے سائل کو کھانا دوں جسے میں مسلمان نہیں جانتا؟ آپ نے فرمایا: ہاں، اسے دو جسے تم نہ ولایت کے ساتھ جانتے ہو اور نہ حق کی دشمنی کے ساتھ۔ بے شک اللہ عزّ و جلّ فرماتا ہے: «اور لوگوں سے اچھی بات کہو» (2:83)۔ اور اسے کھانا نہ دو جس نے حق کی کسی چیز کے خلاف دشمنی اختیار کی ہو یا باطل کی طرف دعوت دیتا ہو۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Hareyz, from Sadeyr Al Sayrafi who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘Shall I feed a beggar whom I do not recognise as being a Muslim?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes, you can give to the one who is neither recognised with the Wilayah nor enmity towards the Truth. Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic is Saying <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:2#h83"><a href="/books/quran:2#h83">[2:83]</a></a> and you shall speak to the people good words</span>, and do not give to the one who establishes hostility to something from the Truth, or calls towards something from the falsehood’.
