شُرَیس الوابشی نے مجھ سے، جابر سے، ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ کا اسمِ اعظم تہتر حروف پر مشتمل ہے۔ آصف کے پاس اس میں سے صرف ایک حرف تھا، اور اس نے اسی کے ذریعے کلام کیا، یہاں تک کہ اس کے اور بلقیس کے تخت کے درمیان زمین دھنس گئی، یہاں تک کہ اس نے اپنے ہاتھ سے تخت کو پکڑ لیا۔ پھر زمین اسی حالت میں لوٹ آئی جیسے پہلے تھی، آنکھ جھپکنے سے بھی زیادہ تیزی سے۔ اور ہمارے پاس اسمِ اعظم کے بہتر حروف ہیں، جبکہ ایک حرف اللہ تعالیٰ کے پاس ہے؛ اس نے اسے اپنے پاس علمِ غیب میں خاص کر رکھا ہے جو اس کے پاس ہے۔ اور اللہ، بلند و عظیم کے سوا نہ کوئی طاقت ہے اور نہ کوئی قوت۔

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya and someone else, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad,f rom Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl who said, ‘Shureys Al-Sabishy informed be, from Jabir, from Abu Ja’far^asws having said: ‘The Magnificent Name of Allah^azwj is upon seventy three letters, and rather it was with Asif (Bik Barkhiya, successor^as Suleyman^as). So he^as spoke with it, and the land which was between him^as and the throne of Bilquis submerged to the extent that he^as grabbed the throne by his^as hand. Then the land returned just as it had been, quicker than the blink of an eye. And we^asws, with us^asws are seventy two letters from the Magnificent Name, and one letter is in the Presence of Allah^azwj the Exalted, which He^azwj Accounts for the the Knowledge of the unseen. And there is neither Might nor Strength except with Allah^azwj, the Exalted, the Magnificent’.
