علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے عبداللہ بن مغیرہ سے، انہوں نے اسماعیل بن ابی زیاد سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ سے، انہوں نے اپنے آباء و اجداد علیہم السلام سے روایت کی کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے اپنے اصحاب سے فرمایا: 'کیا میں تمہیں ایسی بات نہ بتاؤں کہ اگر تم اسے کرو تو شیطان تم سے اتنا دور ہو جائے جتنا مشرق مغرب سے دور ہے؟' انہوں نے کہا: 'ہاں۔' آپ نے فرمایا: 'روزہ اس کا چہرہ سیاہ کر دیتا ہے، صدقہ اس کی کمر توڑ دیتا ہے، اللہ کے لیے محبت اور نیک عمل میں تعاون اس کے پیروکاروں کو کاٹ دیتا ہے، اور استغفار اس کی شہ رگ کاٹ دیتا ہے؛ اور ہر چیز کی ایک زکاۃ ہے، اور جسموں کی زکاۃ روزہ ہے۔'

Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Abdullah Bin Al Mugheira, from Ismail Bin Abu Ziyad, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah^asws, from his^asws forefathers^asws that the Prophet^saww said to his^saww companions: ‘Shall I^saww inform you all with something that if you were to do it, it would distance the Satan^la from you just as the East is distanced from the West?’ They said, ‘Yes’ (please). He^saww said : ‘The Fast blackens his^la face, and the charity breaks his^la back, and the love for the Sake of Allah^azwj and the assistance upon the righteous deeds cuts-off his^la tail (followers), and seeking the Forgiveness cuts-off his^la vein (aorta); and for everything is a Zakaat, and a Zakaat of the bodies are the Fasts’.
