قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَنْ صَامَ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ يَوْماً فِي شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ فَأَصَابَهُ ظَمَأٌ وَكَّلَ اللَّهُ بِهِ أَلْفَ مَلَكٍ يَمْسَحُونَ وَجْهَهُ وَ يُبَشِّرُونَهُ حَتَّى إِذَا أَفْطَرَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ لَهُ مَا أَطْيَبَ رِيحَكَ وَ رَوْحَكَ مَلَائِكَتِي اشْهَدُوا أَنِّي قَدْ غَفَرْتُ لَهُ .

ہمارے اصحاب کی ایک جماعت نے سہل بن زیاد سے، انہوں نے محمد بن سنان سے، انہوں نے منذر بن یزید سے، انہوں نے یونس بن ظبیان سے روایت کی کہ: ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: 'جو شخص شدید گرمی میں اللہ عزوجل کے لیے ایک دن کا روزہ رکھے اور اسے پیاس لگے، اللہ اس کے ساتھ ہزار فرشتے مقرر کرتا ہے جو اس کا چہرہ مسح کرتے ہیں اور اسے بشارت دیتے ہیں، یہاں تک کہ جب وہ افطار کرے، اللہ عزوجل اس سے فرماتا ہے: تیری خوشبو اور تیری روح کتنی پاکیزہ ہے! میرے فرشتو! گواہ رہو کہ میں نے اسے بخش دیا ہے۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Munzar Bin Yazeed, from Yunus Bin Zibyan who said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The one who Fasts for the Sake of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic for a day during intense heat, so thirst hits him, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Allocates a thousand Angels with him, wiping his face, and giving him glad tidings until when he breaks the Fast, Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic Says to him: “How aromatic is your fragrance and your spirit. My Angels! Bear witness that I<sup>azwj</sup> have Forgiven him’.
