علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے حماد بن عیسیٰ سے، انہوں نے ابراہیم بن عمر یمانی سے، انہوں نے عمرو بن شمر سے، انہوں نے جابر سے، انہوں نے ابو جعفر علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم جب ماہ رمضان کا ہلال طلوع ہوتا تو قبلہ کی طرف رخ کرتے اور اپنے دونوں ہاتھ اٹھاتے اور فرماتے: اے اللہ! اسے ہم پر امن، ایمان، سلامتی، اسلام، سب کو ڈھانپ لینے والی عافیت، وسیع رزق اور بیماریوں کو دور کرنے کے ساتھ طلوع فرما۔ اے اللہ! ہمیں اس کے روزوں اور قیام اور اس میں تلاوت قرآن کی توفیق عطا فرما۔ اے اللہ! اسے ہمارے لیے سلامت رکھ، اور اسے ہم سے سلامت قبول فرما، اور ہمیں اس میں سلامت رکھ۔

Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Hammad Bin Isa, from Ibrahim Bin Umar Al Yamany, from Amro Bin Shimr, from Jabir, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far^asws having said: ‘Rasool-Allah^azwj, whenever it was a crescent of a Month of Ramazan, would face the Qiblah and raise his^saww hands, so he^saww would say: ‘O Allah^azwj! Welcome it upon us with the security, and the faith, and the peace, and the Islam, and the good spirited health, and the extensive sustenance, and Repel the illnesses. O Allah^azwj! Grace us its Fasts, and its standing (for the Prayer), and recitation of the Quran therein. O Allah^azwj! Give it as a safety for us, and Receive it back in safety from us, and Keep us safe therein’.
