إِذَا حَضَرَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ فَقُلِ اللَّهُمَّ قَدْ حَضَرَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ وَ قَدِ افْتَرَضْتَ عَلَيْنَا صِيَامَهُ وَ أَنْزَلْتَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ هُدًى لِلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّنَاتٍ مِنَ الْهُدَى وَ الْفُرْقَانِ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنَّا عَلَى صِيَامِهِ اللَّهُمَّ تَقَبَّلْهُ مِنَّا وَ سَلِّمْنَا فِيهِ وَ تَسَلَّمْهُ مِنَّا فِي يُسْرٍ مِنْكَ وَ عَافِيَةٍ إِنَّكَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ .

یونس نے علی بن ابی حمزہ سے، انہوں نے ابو بصیر سے، انہوں نے ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: جب ماہ رمضان آئے تو کہو: اے اللہ! ماہ رمضان آ گیا، اور تو نے ہم پر اس کے روزے فرض کیے، اور تو نے اس میں قرآن نازل کیا جو لوگوں کے لیے ہدایت اور ہدایت اور فرقان کی واضح نشانیاں ہیں۔ اے اللہ! اس کے روزوں میں ہماری مدد فرما۔ اے اللہ! اسے ہم سے قبول فرما، اس میں ہمیں سلامت رکھ، اور اسے ہم سے اپنی طرف سے آسانی اور عافیت کے ساتھ قبول فرما۔ بے شک تو ہر چیز پر قادر ہے، اے سب سے زیادہ مہربان!
Translation
<span style="font-size: small">Yunus, from Ali Bin Abu Hamza, from Abu Baseer, from Abu Abdullah</span><sup>asws</sup><span style="font-size: small"> having said: </span> ‘Whenever a Month of Ramazan presents itself, so say, ‘O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! A Month of Ramazan has presented itself, and its Fasts are Obligated upon us, and the Quran was Revealed therein, a Guidance for the people, and Clarifications of the Guidance and the Criterion. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Aid us upon its Fasts. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! Accept it from us, and Secure us therein, and Receive it back from us in Ease from You<sup>azwj</sup>, and good health, for You<sup>azwj</sup> are Able upon everything, O most Merciful of the merciful ones!’
