قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ( عليه السلام ) إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ السِّلَاحِ فِينَا كَمَثَلِ التَّابُوتِ فِي بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ أَيْنَمَا دَارَ التَّابُوتُ دَارَ الْمُلْكُ وَ أَيْنَمَا دَارَ السِّلَاحُ فِينَا دَارَ الْعِلْمُ.

ہمارے بعض اصحاب نے، احمد بن محمد سے، ابن ابی نصر سے، ابو الحسن الرضا علیہ السلام سے روایت کی، جنہوں نے فرمایا: ابو جعفر علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: ہمارے درمیان ہتھیار کی مثال صرف بنی اسرائیل کے تابوت کی مثال کی مانند ہے: جہاں کہیں تابوت جاتا، بادشاہت بھی وہاں جاتی؛ اور جہاں کہیں ہمارے درمیان ہتھیار جاتا ہے، علم بھی وہاں جاتا ہے۔
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Abu Nasr, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘But rather an example of the weapons among us<sup>asws</sup> is like an example of the Ark among the Children of Israel. Wherever the Ark went, so did the Kingdom, and wherever the weapons go to among us<sup>asws</sup>, so does the Knowledge’.
