رَجُلٍ أَفْطَرَ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ مُتَعَمِّداً يَوْماً وَاحِداً مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ قَالَ يُعْتِقُ نَسَمَةً أَوْ يَصُومُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ أَوْ يُطْعِمُ سِتِّينَ مِسْكِيناً فَإِنْ لَمْ يَقْدِرْ تَصَدَّقَ بِمَا يُطِيقُ .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Abdullah Bin Sinan, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding a man who breaks a Fast from the Month of Ramazan deliberately for one day, without an excuse. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should either emancipate a person, or Fasts two months consecutively, or feed sixty poor ones. So if he is not able, he should give in charity with whatever he can afford to’.
