John Shaqi

لَا بَأْسَ قَالَ وَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ يَكُونُ لَهَا الصَّبِيُّ وَ هِيَ صَائِمَةٌ فَتَمْضَغُ الْخُبْزَ وَ تُطْعِمُهُ فَقَالَ لَا بَأْسَ وَ الطَّيْرَ إِنْ كَانَ لَهَا .


Translation

Ali Bin Ibrahi, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Hammad, from Al Halby, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having been asked about the Fasting woman cooking in the pot, so she tastes the stock awaiting over it. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no problem’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And he<sup>asws</sup> was asked about the woman who happens to have the child for her, and she is Fasting, so she chews the bread and feeds it to him. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘There is no problem, and the bird, if there was one for her’.
