الرَّجُلِ يُصِيبُهُ الْعُطَاشُ حَتَّى يَخَافَ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ قَالَ يَشْرَبُ بِقَدْرِ مَا يُمْسِكُ بِهِ رَمَقَهُ وَ لَا يَشْرَبُ حَتَّى يَرْوَى .
Translation
Ahmad Bin Idrees, and someone else from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Amro Bin Saeed, from Musaddaq Bin Sadaqa, from Ammar, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> regarding the man who is hit by thirst to the extent that he fears upon himself. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He can drink by a measurement of what he can hold his breath with, and he should not drink to the extent that he his quenched’.
