سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ أَيَّامٌ أَ يَتَطَوَّعُ فَقَالَ لَا حَتَّى يَقْضِيَ مَا عَلَيْهِ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ .
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, from Abu Al Sabbah Al Kinany who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about a man upon whom are Fasts from a Month of Ramazan (to make up for), can he Fast optional ones?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No, until he makes up for what is upon him from a Month of Ramazan’.
