قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) لَيْسَ لِلْمَرْأَةِ أَنْ تَصُومَ تَطَوُّعاً إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ زَوْجِهَا .
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Malik Bin Atiyya, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from Abu Ja’far<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘The Prophet<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘It is not for the wife that she should be Fasting voluntarily (optional Fast) except by the permission of her husband’.
