كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) يُفْطِرُ عَلَى التَّمْرِ فِي زَمَنِ التَّمْرِ وَ عَلَى الرُّطَبِ فِي زَمَنِ الرُّطَبِ .
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibrahim Bin Mihzan, from Talha Bin Zayd, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> used to break a Fast upon the dates during the season of the dates, and upon fresh dates during the season of fresh dates’.
