احمد بن محمد نے محمد بن الحسن سے، انہوں نے عباد بن سلیمان سے، انہوں نے محمد بن سلیمان سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے سدیر سے روایت کی سدیر نے کہا: جب امام مجلس سے اٹھے اور اپنے گھر تشریف لے گئے، تو میں، ابوبصیر اور میسر نے ان کے پاس جا کر عرض کی: ہم آپ پر قربان، ہم نے آپ کو اپنی کنیز کے بارے میں ایسا ایسا فرماتے ہوئے سنا، اور ہم جانتے ہیں کہ آپ کثیر علم رکھتے ہیں، لیکن ہم آپ کو علم غیب کی طرف نہیں منسوب کرتے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اے سدیر! کیا تم نے قرآن نہیں پڑھا؟ میں نے کہا: ہاں پڑھا ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: تم نے جو اللہ عزوجل کی کتاب میں پڑھا، کیا اس میں یہ پایا: جس کے پاس کتاب کا علم تھا اس نے کہا: میں اسے آپ کی نظر جھپکنے سے پہلے لا دوں گا راوی کہتے ہیں: میں نے عرض کی: آپ پر قربان، میں نے پڑھا ہے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: کیا تم اس شخص کو جانتے ہو اور کیا تمہیں معلوم ہے کہ اس کے پاس علم کتاب کتنا تھا؟ میں نے کہا: مجھے بتائیں۔ آپ نے فرمایا: سبز سمندر میں پانی کی ایک بوند کے برابر -- وہ تھا جو اس کے پاس علم کتاب سے تھا۔ میں نے عرض کی: کتنا کم ہے یہ! آپ نے فرمایا: اے سدیر! یہ کتنا زیادہ ہے کہ اللہ عزوجل نے اسے اس علم کی طرف منسوب کیا جس سے میں تمہیں باخبر کرنے والا ہوں۔ اے سدیر! کیا تم نے اللہ عزوجل کی کتاب میں یہ بھی پایا: کہو: اللہ میرے اور تمہارے درمیان گواہ کافی ہے اور وہ جس کے پاس کتاب کا علم ہے راوی کہتے ہیں: میں نے کہا: میں نے پڑھا ہے، آپ پر قربان۔ آپ نے فرمایا: جس کے پاس پوری کتاب کا علم ہو وہ زیادہ سمجھ والا ہے یا جس کے پاس کچھ علم ہو؟ میں نے کہا: نہیں بلکہ جس کے پاس پوری کتاب کا علم ہو۔ آپ نے اپنے ہاتھ سے اپنے سینے کی طرف اشارہ کیا اور فرمایا: کتاب کا علم، اللہ کی قسم، سارا ہمارے پاس ہے! کتاب کا علم، اللہ کی قسم، سارا ہمارے پاس ہے!

Translation

Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Al Hassan, from Abbad Bin Suleyman, from Muhammad Bin Suleyman, from his father, from Sadeyr who said, Sadeyr (the narrator) said, ‘So when he^asws arose from his^asws gathering and went to his^asws house, I and Abu Baseer, and Muyassar went over and said to him^asws, ‘May we be sacrificed for you^asws! We heard you^asws and you^asws were saying such and such regarding the matter of your^asws maid, and we know that you^asws have a lot of knowledge, and we are not linking you^asws to the knowledge of the unseen’. So he^asws said: ‘O Sadeyr! Do you not read the Quran?’ I said, ‘Yes (I do)’. He^asws said: ‘So did you find in what you read from the Book of Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:27#h40"><a href="/books/quran:27#h40">[27:40]</a></a> The one who had the knowledge from the Book said: I will bring it to you in the blink of an eye</span>? He (the narrator) said, ‘I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you^asws! I have read it’. He^asws said: ‘So do you recognise the man, and do you know what was with him from the knowledge of the Book?’ I said, ‘Inform me of it’. He^asws said: ‘A measurement of a drop of water from the green ocean, so that is what happened to be from the knowledge of the Book’. I said, ‘May I be sacrificed for you^asws! What little this is’ So he^asws said: ‘O Sadeyr! What a lot this is if you were to link it to Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic to the Knowledge which I am about to inform you with it. O Sadeyr! So, did you find in what you read from the Book of Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic as well, <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:13#h43"><a href="/books/quran:13#h43">[13:43]</a></a> Say: Allah is Sufficient as a Witness between me and you and the one who has Knowledge of the Book</span>?’ I said, ‘I have read it, may I be sacrificed for you^asws!’ He^asws said: ‘So, is the one with whom is the knowledge of the Book, all of it, more understanding, or the one with whom is knowledge of the Book, part of it?’ I said, ‘No, but the one with whom is the knowledge of the Book, all of it’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So he^asws gestured by his^asws hand towards his^asws chest and said: ‘The knowledge of the Book, by Allah^azwj, all of it is with us^asws! The knowledge of the Book, by Allah^azwj, all of it is with us^asws!’.
