محمد بن یحیی، محمد بن احمد سے، احمد بن ہلال سے، عیسیٰ بن عبداللہ الہاشمی سے، اپنے والد سے، ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے، جنہوں نے فرمایا: کعبہ کا مقام زمین کا ایک سفید ٹیلہ تھا جو سورج اور چاند کی روشنی کی طرح چمکتا تھا، یہاں تک کہ آدم کے دو بیٹوں میں سے ایک نے اپنے ساتھی کو قتل کر دیا تو وہ کالی ہو گئی۔ جب آدم اترے تو اللہ نے ان کے لیے پوری زمین اٹھائی یہاں تک کہ انہوں نے اسے دیکھا، پھر فرمایا: یہ سب تمہاری ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا: اے رب! یہ سفید روشن زمین کیا ہے؟ اللہ نے فرمایا: وہ میری زمین میں ہے اور میں نے تم پر لازم کیا ہے کہ تم ہر روز اس کے سات سو طواف کرو۔

Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad, from Ahmad Bin Hilal, from Isa Bin Abdullah Al Hashimy, from his father, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah^asws having said: ‘The place of the Kaaba was a mound of white ground, shining like the shine of the sun and the moon, until the two sons of Adam^as, one of the two killed his companion, so it turned black. So when Adam^as descended, Allah^azwj Raised the land for him^as, all of it, until he^as saw it, then Said: ‘This is for you^as, all of it’. He^as said: ‘O Lord^azwj! What is this white radiant land?’ He^azwj Said: “It is My^azwj land, and I^azwj have Made it upon you^as that you^as should go around it, every day, by seven hundred circumambulations’.
