اور اس سند کے ساتھ، احمد بن محمد سے، ابن سنان سے، عبداللہ بن مسکان سے، جنہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا بصیر کو کہتے ہوئے سنا: میں نے ابی عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے کہا: علی کے اصحاب پر جو کچھ آیا، وہ ان کے اپنے موتوں اور آزمائشوں کے علم کے باوجود کہاں سے آیا؟ تو انہوں نے جواب دیا، گویا غصے میں ہوں: وہ کس سے تھا، سوائے ان ہی کے؟ پھر میں نے کہا: آپ کو کیا چیز مانع ہے، میں آپ پر قربان ہو جاؤں؟ فرمایا: وہ ایک دروازہ تھا جو بند کر دیا گیا تھا، مگر حسین بن علی، اللہ کی برکتیں ان دونوں پر ہوں، نے اس میں سے تھوڑا سا حصہ کھول دیا۔ پھر انہوں نے فرمایا: اے ابا محمد، ان لوگوں کے منہ پر بند تھے۔

Translation

And by this chain, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Sinan, from Abdullah Bin Muskan who said, ‘I heard Abu Baeer saying, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah^asws, ‘From where did the companions of Ali^asws attain (the knowledge of) what is going to hit them, along with the knowledge of their deaths and their calamities?’ He (Abu Baseer) said, ‘So he^asws answered me resembling the anger: ‘From whom would that be except for themselves?’ So I said, ‘So what is preventing you^asws, may I be sacrificed for you^asws?’ (i.e., to foretell our future to us). He^asws said: ‘That is a locked door, except that Al-Husayn^asws Bin Ali^asws opened something small from it’. Then he^asws said:’O Abu Muhammad! Those ones, they used to have stoppers upon their mouths’.
