قَالَ لِي نَحْنُ فِي الْعِلْمِ وَ الشَّجَاعَةِ سَوَاءٌ وَ فِي الْعَطَايَا عَلَى قَدْرِ مَا نُؤْمَرُ .

علی بن محمد بن عبداللہ، اپنے والد سے، محمد بن عیسیٰ سے، داؤد النہدی سے، علی بن جعفر سے، ابو الحسن علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، جنہوں نے فرمایا: انہوں نے مجھ سے فرمایا: “ہم علم اور شجاعت میں برابر ہیں، اور عطا میں اس مقدار کے مطابق ہیں جس کا ہمیں حکم دیا جاتا ہے۔”
Translation
Ali Bin Muhammad Bin Abdullah, from his father, from Muhammad Bin Isa, from Dawood Al Nahdy, (It has been narrated) from Ali son of Ja’far<sup>asws</sup>, from Abu Al-Hassan<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said to me: ‘We (Imams<sup>asws</sup>) are equal in the knowledge and the bravery, and with regards to the Grants, it is in accordance with what we<sup>asws</sup> are Commanded (by Allah<sup>azwj</sup>)’.
