اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَنْ تُؤَدُّوا الْأَماناتِ إِلى أَهْلِها قَالَ هُمُ الْأَئِمَّةُ يُؤَدِّي الْإِمَامُ إِلَى الْإِمَامِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَ لَا يَخُصُّ بِهَا غَيْرَهُ وَ لَا يَزْوِيهَا عَنْهُ .

محمد بن یحیی، احمد بن محمد سے، وہ حسین بن سعید سے، وہ محمد بن فضیل سے، وہ ابو الحسن الرضا علیہ السلام سے روایت کرتے ہیں، اللہ عزوجل کے اس قول کے بارے میں: بے شک اللہ تمہیں حکم دیتا ہے کہ امانتیں ان کے اہل تک پہنچاؤ۔ انہوں نے علیہ السلام فرمایا: وہ ائمہ ہیں۔ امام اسے اپنے بعد والے امام کے حوالے کرتا ہے، اور اس میں کسی اور کو خاص نہیں کرتا، اور نہ ہی اسے اس سے روکتا ہے۔
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Muhammad Bin Al Fuzayl, (It has been narrated) from Abu Al-Hassan Al-Reza<sup>asws</sup> regarding the Words of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:4#h58"><a href="/books/quran:4#h58">[4:58]</a></a> Surely Allah Commands you to make over trusts to their owners</span>. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘They<sup>asws</sup> are the Imams<sup>asws</sup>. The Imam<sup>asws</sup> hands over the entrustments to the Imam<sup>asws</sup> to be from after him<sup>asws</sup>, and no one else is particularised with it apart from him<sup>asws</sup>, nor is it impeded from him<sup>asws</sup>’.
