فِي كِتَابِ عَلِيٍّ صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ فِي بَيْضِ الْقَطَاةِ بَكَارَةٌ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ إِذَا أَصَابَهُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِثْلُ مَا فِي بَيْضِ النَّعَامِ بَكَارَةٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ .
Translation
Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Abdul Rahman Bin Al Hajjaj, from Suleyman Bin Khalid, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘In the Book of Ali<sup>asws</sup>, regarding an egg of the sand grouse, is a young from the sheep, when the one in <span class="iTxt">Ihraam</span> attains it, similar to what is regarding an egg of the ostrich being a young she camel’.
