احمد بن محمد اور محمد بن یحییٰ نے، محمد بن الحسین سے، انہوں نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے ابو الحسن الکنانی سے، انہوں نے جعفر بن نجیح الکندی سے، انہوں نے محمد بن احمد بن عبید اللہ العمری سے، انہوں نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے اپنے دادا سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: بے شک اللہ عزوجل نے اپنے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ پر ان کی وفات سے پہلے ایک کتاب نازل کی۔ پس اس نے کہا: اے محمد! یہ آپ کی وصیت ہے آپ کے گھرانے کے اشراف کے لیے۔ آپ نے فرمایا: اشراف کون ہیں اے جبریل؟ تو اس نے کہا: علی بن ابی طالب اور ان کی اولاد علیہم السلام۔ اور اس کتاب پر سونے کی مہریں تھیں۔ پس نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ نے اسے امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام کو دیا اور انہیں حکم دیا کہ اس میں سے ایک مہر کھولیں اور جو اس میں ہے اس پر عمل کریں۔ تو امیر المؤمنین علیہ السلام نے ایک مہر کھولی اور جو اس میں تھا اس پر عمل کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اسے اپنے بیٹے حسن علیہ السلام کو دیا، اور انہوں نے ایک مہر کھول کر جو اس میں تھا اس پر عمل کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اسے حسین علیہ السلام کو دیا اور انہوں نے ایک مہر کھولی اور اس میں پایا: ایک قوم کو لے کر شہادت کی طرف نکلو — ان کے لیے آپ کے بغیر کوئی شہادت نہیں — اور اپنی جان کو اللہ عزوجل کے لیے بیچ دو۔ پس انہوں نے ایسا کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اسے علی بن الحسین علیہ السلام کو دیا اور انہوں نے ایک مہر کھولی اور اس میں پایا: خاموشی اختیار کرو، چپ رہو، اپنے گھر میں رہو اور اپنے رب کی عبادت کرو یہاں تک کہ تمہیں یقین آ جائے۔ پس انہوں نے ایسا کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اسے اپنے بیٹے محمد بن علی علیہ السلام کو دیا اور انہوں نے ایک مہر کھولی اور اس میں پایا: لوگوں کو احادیث سناؤ اور انہیں فتویٰ دو، اور اللہ عزوجل کے سوا کسی سے مت ڈرو، کیونکہ تمہارے خلاف کسی کی کوئی راہ نہیں۔ پس انہوں نے ایسا کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اسے اپنے بیٹے جعفر کو دیا اور انہوں نے ایک مہر کھولی اور اس میں پایا: لوگوں کو احادیث سناؤ اور انہیں فتویٰ دو، اور اپنے اہل بیت کے علوم پھیلاؤ، اور اپنے نیک آباء کی تصدیق کرو، اور اللہ عزوجل کے سوا کسی سے مت ڈرو — اور تم حفاظت اور امان میں ہو۔ پس انہوں نے ایسا کیا۔ پھر انہوں نے اسے اپنے بیٹے موسیٰ علیہ السلام کو دیا، اور اسی طرح موسیٰ اسے اپنے بعد والے کو دیں گے، پھر اسی طرح مہدی کے قیام تک — اللہ ان پر رحمت نازل فرمائے۔

Translation

Ahmad Bin Muhammad and Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Abu Al Hassan Al Kinany, from Ja’far Bin Najeeh Al Kindy, from Muhammad Bin Ahmad Bin Ubeydullah Al Umary, from his father, from his grandfather, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah^asws having said: ‘Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic sent an Ordinance upon His^azwj Prophet^saww before his^saww passing away. So he (Jibraeel^as said: ‘O Muhammad^saww! This is your^asws testament to the nobles from your^saww family’. He^saww said: ‘And what nobles O Jibraeel^as?’ So he^as said: ‘Ali^asws Bin Abu Talib^as and his^asws sons^asws’. And it was so that there were seals of gold upon the Ordinances. So the Prophet^as handed it over to Amir Al-Momineen^asws and instructed him^asws that he^asws should untie a seal from it and act in accordance with whatever is in it. So Amir Al-Momineen^asws untied a seal and acted in accordance with whatever was in it. Then he^asws handed it over to Al-Hassan^asws. So he^asws untied a seal and acted in accordance with whatever was in it. Then he^asws handed it over to Al-Husayn^asws. So he^asws untied a seal, and he^asws found therein: “Go out with a group of people to the martyrdom, and there is no martyrdom for them except with you^asws, and give glad tidings to yourself^asws for the Sake of Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic”. Then he^asws handed it over to Ali^asws Bin Al-Husayn^asws. So he^asws untied a seal and he^asws found therein: “Withhold and be silent and necessitate (staying in) your^asws house <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:15#h99"><a href="/books/quran:15#h99">[15:99]</a></a> And worship your Lord until there comes to you certainty</span>’. So he^asws did it. Then he^asws handed it over to his^asws son^asws Muhammad^asws Bin Ali^asws. So he^asws untied a seal and he^asws found therein: “Narrate to the people and issue Verdicts to them, and do not fear anyone except Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic, for there is no way for anyone against you^asws”. So he^asws did it. Then he^asws handed it over to his^asws son^asws Ja’far^asws. So he^asws untied a seal and he^asws found therein: “Narrate to the people and issue Verdicts to them and publicise the knowledge to the People^asws of your^asws Household, and ratify your^asws forefathers^asws, the righteous ones^asws, and do not fear anyone except Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic, and you^asws are in Protection and Security”. Then he^asws handed it over to his^asws son^asws Musa^asws, and similar to that, Musa^asws would be handing it over to the one^asws who would be after him^asws, up to the rising of Al-Mahdi^asws, may the <span class="iTxt">Salawat</span> of Allah^azwj be upon him^asws’.
