قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) مَا أَقُولُ إِذَا اسْتَقْبَلْتُ الْحَجَرَ فَقَالَ كَبِّرْ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ ‘كَبِّرْ وَ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ آلِهِ’ قَالَ وَ سَمِعْتُهُ إِذَا أَتَى الْحَجَرَ يَقُولُ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ السَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) . ‘اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ السَّلَامُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ (صلى الله عليه وآله)’
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, from Safwan Bin yahya, from Yaqoub Bin Shuayb who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘What should I be saying when I face the Black Stone?’ So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Exclaim the Greatness of Allah<sup>azwj</sup> (Takbeer), and send Blessings upon Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and his<sup>saww</sup> Progeny<sup>asws</sup> (Salawaat)’. He (the narrator) said, ‘And I heard him<sup>asws</sup> when he<sup>asws</sup> went over to the (Black) Stone, he<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘Allah<sup>azwj</sup> is the Greatest! The greetings be upon Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>’.
