John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) سُقْتُ فِي الْعُمْرَةِ بَدَنَةً أَيْنَ أَنْحَرُهَا قَالَ بِمَكَّةَ قُلْتُ أَيَّ شَيْ‏ءٍ أُعْطِي مِنْهَا قَالَ كُلْ ثُلُثاً وَ أَهْدِ ثُلُثاً وَ تَصَدَّقْ بِثُلُثٍ .


Translation

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Fazzal, from Yunus Bin Yaqoub, from Shuayb Al Aqarqufy who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘I drove a camel regarding the Umra, where should I slaughter it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘In Makkah’. I said, ‘Which thing should he give from it?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘He should eat a third, and gift a third, and give in charity with a third’.
