قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) ائْتِ مَقَامَ جَبْرَئِيلَ ( عليه السلام ) وَ هُوَ تَحْتَ الْمِيزَابِ فَإِنَّهُ كَانَ مَقَامَهُ إِذَا اسْتَأْذَنَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ قُلْ أَيْ جَوَادُ أَيْ كَرِيمُ أَيْ قَرِيبُ أَيْ بَعِيدُ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تُصَلِّيَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَ أَسْأَلُكَ أَنْ تَرُدَّ عَلَيَّ نِعْمَتَكَ قَالَ وَ ذَلِكَ مَقَامٌ لَا تَدْعُو فِيهِ حَائِضٌ تَسْتَقْبِلُ الْقِبْلَةَ ثُمَّ تَدْعُو بِدُعَاءِ الدَّمِ إِلَّا رَأَتِ الطُّهْرَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ.
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Muawiya Bin Ammar, altogether said, ‘Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Go to the standing place of Jibraeel<sup>as</sup>, and it is beneath the water sprout, and it was his<sup>as</sup> standing place when he<sup>as</sup> sought permission to (visit) Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, and say, ‘O Benevolent! O Generous! O Near! O Remote! I ask You<sup>azwj</sup> to Send Blessings upon Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and the Progeny<sup>asws</sup> of Muhammad<sup>saww</sup> and the People<sup>asws</sup> of his<sup>saww</sup> Household; and I ask You<sup>azwj</sup> to Return upon me Your<sup>azwj</sup> Bounties’. He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘And that is a place wherein a menstruating woman would not supplicate facing the Qiblah, the supplication of the blood, except that she would see purity, if Allah<sup>azwj</sup> so Desires’.
