دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَ عَمَّارٌ وَ جَمَاعَةٌ عَلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( صلوات الله عليه ) بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَقَالَ مَا مُقَامُكُمْ فَقَالَ عَمَّارٌ قَدْ سَرَّحْنَا ظَهْرَنَا وَ أَمَرْنَا أَنْ نُؤْتَى بِهِ إِلَى خَمْسَةَ عَشَرَ يَوْماً فَقَالَ أَصَبْتُمُ الْمُقَامَ فِي بَلَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) وَ الصَّلَاةَ فِي مَسْجِدِهِ وَ اعْمَلُوا لآِخِرَتِكُمْ وَ أَكْثِرُوا لِأَنْفُسِكُمْ إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ قَدْ يَكُونُ كَيِّساً فِي الدُّنْيَا فَيُقَالُ مَا أَكْيَسَ فُلَاناً وَ إِنَّمَا الْكَيِّسُ كَيِّسُ الْآخِرَةِ .
Translation
Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Hadeed, from Murazam who said, ‘I, and Ammar, and a group went over to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> in Al-Medina. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘What is your stay?’ So Ammar said, ‘We have released our backs, and we instructed that we would be going with it for fifteen days’. So he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘You have attained the place in a city of Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup>, and the praying of the <span class="iTxt">Salaat</span> in his<sup>saww</sup> Masjid; and you should be working for your Hereafter, and frequent for yourselves. The man would happen to be clever regarding the world, so it would be said, ‘How clever is so and so!’, and rather, the clever is the one who is clever regarding the Hereafter’.
