John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) حَرَّمَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْمَدِينَةَ قَالَ نَعَمْ حَرَّمَ بَرِيداً فِي بَرِيدٍ غَضَاها قَالَ قُلْتُ صَيْدَهَا قَالَ لَا يَكْذِبُ النَّاسُ .


Translation

Humeyd Bin Ziyad, from Al Hassan Bin Muhammad Bin Sama’at, from someone else, from Aban, from Abu Al Abbas who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘<span class="iTxt">Harram</span> of Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> is Al-Medina?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Yes. He<sup>saww</sup> sanctified a spot if Bareyda (a certain area of land) by planting therein’. I said, ‘(What about) hunting in (such a sacred area)?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The people would not be belied’.
