Translation

Abu Ali Al Ashary, from Muhammad Bin Abdul Jabbar, from Safwan Bin Yahya, from Ibn Muskan, from Al Hassan Al Sayqal who said, ‘Abu Abdullah^asws said: ‘I^asws was in the presence of Ziyad Bin Abdullah, and with him was Rabi’a Al-Rai’e. So Ziyad said, ‘What is which Rasool-Allah^saww sanctified from Al-Medina?’ So he said, ‘An area of Bareyd’. So he said to Rabi’e, ‘And it was many miles in the era of Rasool-Allah^saww’. So he was silent and did not answer him. So Ziyad turned towards me^asws, and he said, ‘O Abu Abdullah^asws! What are you^asws saying?’ So I^asws said: ‘Rasool-Allah^saww sanctified from Al-Medina what is in between the two Labeets’. He said, ‘And what is in between the two Labeets?’ I^asws said: ‘What is encompassed by the hills’. He said, ‘And what did he^saww sanctify from the trees?’ I said, ‘From this hill to that hill’. Safwan said, ‘Ibn Muskan said, ‘Al-Hassan said, ‘A person asked him^asws and I was seated, so he said to him, ‘And what is in between the two Labeets?’ He^asws said: ‘What is between the two boundaries of Al-Saniyya’.
