سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) عَنْ صَاحِبِ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ فَقَالَ إِنَّ صَاحِبَ هَذَا الْأَمْرِ لَا يَلْهُو وَ لَا يَلْعَبُ وَ أَقْبَلَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُوسَى وَ هُوَ صَغِيرٌ وَ مَعَهُ عَنَاقٌ مَكِّيَّةٌ وَ هُوَ يَقُولُ لَهَا اسْجُدِي لِرَبِّكِ فَأَخَذَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ ضَمَّهُ إِلَيْهِ وَ قَالَ بِأَبِي وَ أُمِّي مَنْ لَا يَلْهُو وَ لَا يَلْعَبُ .

الحسین بن محمد، معلیٰ بن محمد سے، الوشاء سے، علی بن الحسن سے، صفوان الجمال سے، انہوں نے کہا: میں نے ابا عبد اللہ علیہ السلام سے اس امر کے صاحب کے بارے میں پوچھا، تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “بے شک اس امر کے صاحب نہ لہو کرتے ہیں اور نہ کھیلتے ہیں۔” اور ابوالحسن موسی علیہ السلام بچپن کی حالت میں آگے آئے، اور ان کے ساتھ ایک مکی بکری کا بچہ تھا، اور وہ اسے کہہ رہے تھے: “اپنے رب کے لیے سجدہ کرو۔” پس ابا عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے انہیں اٹھا لیا اور اپنے قریب کر لیا، اور فرمایا: “میرے ماں باپ اس پر قربان ہوں جو نہ لہو کرتا ہے اور نہ کھیلتا ہے۔”
Translation
Al Husayn Bin Muhammad, from Moalla Bin Muhammad, from Al Washha, from Ali Bin Al Hassan, from Safwan Al Jammal who said, ‘I asked Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> about the Master of this command (Imamate), so he<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The Master of this command would ‘لَا يَلْهُو وَ لَا يَلْعَبُ’ neither (indulge in) games nor play’, and Abu Al-Hassan Musa<sup>asws</sup> came over, and he<sup>asws</sup> was young, and with him<sup>asws</sup> was a Meccan kid (baby goat), and he<sup>asws</sup> was saying: ‘Prostrate to your Lord<sup>azwj</sup>!’ So Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> grabbed him<sup>asws</sup> and embraced him<sup>asws</sup> to himself<sup>asws</sup> and said: ‘By my<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup> and my<sup>asws</sup> mother! The one<sup>asws</sup> who neither (indulges in) games nor play’.
