علی بن محمد، ہمارے بعض اصحاب سے، عبیس بن ہشام سے، انہوں نے کہا: عمر الرمانی نے مجھ سے، فیض بن المختار سے روایت کی، انہوں نے کہا: میں ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کی خدمت میں حاضر تھا کہ ابو الحسن موسیٰ علیہ السلام آگے آئے، اور وہ ایک لڑکے تھے۔ تو میں نے انہیں گلے لگایا اور بوسہ دیا، اور ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام نے فرمایا: “تم کشتی ہو، اور یہ اس کا ناخدا ہے۔” انہوں نے کہا: پھر میں اگلے سال حج کے لیے گیا، اور میرے ساتھ دو ہزار دینار تھے۔ تو میں نے ایک ہزار ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کو بھیجے اور ایک ہزار انہیں۔ پھر جب میں ابو عبد اللہ علیہ السلام کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “اے فیض، تم نے اسے میرے برابر کر دیا۔” میں نے کہا: “میں نے یہ صرف آپ کے قول کی وجہ سے کیا تھا۔” تو انہوں نے فرمایا: “بے شک، اللہ کی قسم، یہ میں نے نہیں کیا تھا؛ بلکہ اللہ عز و جل نے یہ اس کے لیے کیا تھا۔”

Translation

Ali Bin Muhammad, from one of our companions, from Ubeys Bin Hisham who said, ‘Umro Al Rummany narrated to me, from Fayz Bin Al Mukhtar who said, ‘I was in the presence of Abu Abdullah^asws when Abu Al-Hassan Musa^asws came over, and he^asws was a boy. So he^asws embraced him^asws and kissed him^asws, and Abu Abdullah^asws said: ‘You are the ship and this one^asws is its captain’. He (the narrator) said, ‘So I performed Hajj the next year and with me were two thousand Dinars. So I sent a thousand over to Abu Abdullah^asws and a thousand to him^asws (Musa^asws). So when I went over to Abu Abdullah^asws, he^asws said: ‘O Fayz! You equated him^asws with me^asws’. I said, ‘But rather, I did that due to your^asws words’. So he^asws said: ‘But, by Allah^azwj, it was not I^asws who did that, but (it was) Allah^azwj Mighty and Majestic who Did it with him^asws’.
