Al-Kafi 8185

Translation

A number of our companions, from Sahl Bin Ziyad, and Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Al Hassan Bin Mahboub, from Is’haq Bin Ammar who said, ‘I heard him^asws saying: ‘For the place of the grave of Al-Husayn^asws, there is a known sanctity, for the one who recognises it and seeks refuge by it’. I said, ‘Describe its place to me’. He^asws said: ‘Measure out from the place of his^asws grave today, twenty five cubits from its front, and twenty five cubits by his^asws head, and twenty five cubits from around his^asws legs, and twenty five cubits from behind him^asws. And the place of the grave from the day he^asws was buried is a Garden from the Gardens of the Paradise, and from it is an ascending stairway from which the deeds of his^asws visitors ascend to the sky, and there is none from an Angel, nor a Prophet^as in the skies, except that they are asking Allah^azwj to Permit them with regards to performing <span class="iTxt">Ziyarah</span> of the grave of Al-Husayn^asws. So a multitude descends and a multitude ascends’.
