John Shaqi

قَالَ الْخَتْمُ عَلَى طِينِ قَبْرِ الْحُسَيْنِ ( عليه السلام ) أَنْ يُقْرَأَ عَلَيْهِ إِنَّا أَنْزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ وَ رُوِيَ إِذَا أَخَذْتَهُ فَقُلْ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ اللَّهُمَّ بِحَقِّ هَذِهِ التُّرْبَةِ الطَّاهِرَةِ وَ بِحَقِّ الْبُقْعَةِ الطَّيِّبَةِ وَ بِحَقِّ الْوَصِيِّ الَّذِي تُوَارِيهِ وَ بِحَقِّ جَدِّهِ وَ أَبِيهِ وَ أُمِّهِ وَ أَخِيهِ وَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الَّذِينَ يَحُفُّونَ بِهِ وَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ الْعُكُوفِ عَلَى قَبْرِ وَلِيِّكَ يَنْتَظِرُونَ نَصْرَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ اجْعَلْ لِي فِيهِ شِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ وَ أَمَاناً مِنْ كُلِّ خَوْفٍ وَ عِزّاً مِنْ كُلِّ ذُلٍّ وَ أَوْسِعْ بِهِ عَلَيَّ فِي رِزْقِي وَ أَصِحَّ بِهِ جِسْمِي .


Translation

Ali Bin Muhammad, raising it, said, ‘He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘The sealing upon the clay of the grave of Al-Husayn<sup>asws</sup> is that one should recite over it <span class="ibTxt"><a href="/#/books/quran:97#h1"><a href="/books/quran:97#h1">[97:1]</a></a> We have indeed revealed this in the Night of Predestination </span>(Chapter 97)’. And it is reported that when you take it, so say, ‘In the Name of Allah<sup>azwj</sup>. O Allah<sup>azwj</sup>! By the right of this dust, and by the right of the purified spot, and by the right of the successor<sup>asws</sup> who is covered (buried), and by the right of his<sup>asws</sup> grandfather<sup>saww</sup>, and his<sup>asws</sup> father<sup>asws</sup>, and his<sup>asws</sup> mother<sup>asws</sup>, and his<sup>asws</sup> brother<sup>asws</sup>, and the Angels who are surrounding him<sup>asws</sup>, and the Angels devoted upon the grave of Your<sup>azwj</sup> Guardian awaiting helping him<sup>asws</sup>, Make a healing for me in it, from every disease, and a security from every fear, and honour from every disgrace, and Expand upon me in my sustenance, and correct my body for me’.
