قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ( صلى الله عليه وآله ) الْخَيْرُ كُلُّهُ فِي السَّيْفِ وَ تَحْتَ ظِلِّ السَّيْفِ وَ لَا يُقِيمُ النَّاسَ إِلَّا السَّيْفُ وَ السُّيُوفُ مَقَالِيدُ الْجَنَّةِ وَ النَّارِ .

ہمارے اصحاب کی ایک جماعت نے احمد بن محمد سے، انہوں نے علی بن الحکم سے، انہوں نے عمر بن ابان سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ انہوں نے فرمایا: رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا: 'ساری بھلائی تلوار میں اور تلوار کے سائے تلے ہے؛ اور لوگوں کو سیدھا کرنے والی صرف تلوار ہے، اور تلواریں جنت اور جہنم کی چابیاں ہیں۔'
Translation
A number of our companions, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, from Umar Bin Aban, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup> having said: ‘Rasool-Allah<sup>saww</sup> said: ‘The goodness, all of it is in the sword, and beneath the shadow of the sword; and nothing can straighten the people except for the sword, and the swords are the keys of the Paradise and the Fire’.
