قُلْتُ لَهُ مَا الزُّهْدُ فِي الدُّنْيَا قَالَ وَيْحَكَ حَرَامَهَا فَتَنَكَّبْهُ

علی بن ابراہیم نے اپنے والد سے، انہوں نے نوفلی سے، انہوں نے سکونی سے، انہوں نے ابو عبداللہ علیہ السلام سے روایت کی کہ آپ نے فرمایا: میں نے آپ سے عرض کیا: دنیا میں زہد کیا ہے؟ آپ نے فرمایا: تجھ پر افسوس! وہ اس کے حرام ہیں، پس ان سے بچ۔
Translation
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from his father, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, said, ‘I said to him<sup>asws</sup>, ‘What is the ascetism in the world?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘Woe be unto you! It’s the Prohibitions, so keep away from it (the Prohibitions)’.
