سَمِعْتُ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ( عليه السلام ) يَقُولُ الزُّهْدُ فِي الدُّنْيَا قَصْرُ الْأَمَلِ وَ شُكْرُ كُلِّ نِعْمَةٍ وَ الْوَرَعُ عَنْ كُلِّ مَا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ .
اردو
میں نے امیرالمؤمنین علیہ السلام کو فرماتے ہوئے سنا: 'دنیا میں زہد آرزو کو مختصر کرنا، ہر نعمت پر شکر ادا کرنا، اور جو کچھ اللہ عزّ و جلّ نے حرام قرار دیا ہے اس سے پرہیز کرنا ہے۔'
Translation
Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Muhammad Bin Sinan, from Maalik Bin Atiyya, from Marouf Bin Kharbouz, from Abu Al Tufayl who said, ‘I heard Amir Al-Momineen<sup>asws</sup> saying: ‘الزُّهْدُ’ the ascetism in the world is the reduction of hopes, and appreciating every Bounty, and the restrain from everything what Allah<sup>azwj</sup> Mighty and Majestic has Prophibited’.
