John Shaqi

قُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) الرَّجُلُ يَكُونُ لِي عَلَيْهِ الْحَقُّ فَيَجْحَدُنِيهِ ثُمَّ يَسْتَوْدِعُنِي مَالًا أَ لِي أَنْ آخُذَ مَالِي عِنْدَهُ قَالَ لَا هَذِهِ خِيَانَةٌ .


Translation

Ali bin Ibrahim, from his father and Muhammad Bin Ismail, from Al Fazl Bin Shazaan, from Ibn Abu Umeyr, from Ibrahim Bin Abdul Hameed, from Muawiya Bin Ammar who said, ‘I said to Abu Abdullah<sup>asws</sup>, ‘The man against whom there happens to be a right for me, so he disputes with me. Then he entrusts me with some wealth. Is it for me that I take my wealth (from it) which is with him?’ He<sup>asws</sup> said: ‘No. This is betrayal’.
